​The Barrington Harbor Estates neighborhood is located at the intersection of Harbor Road and Kelsey Road in Lake Barrington, Illinois.

Located on the Fox River, the neighborhood maintains it’s own private harbor with 61 slips. Surrounding the harbor is the harbor park which is used for hosting the neighborhood social events. Harbor park has picnic tables, benches and a fire pit available for member’s use. With 139 homes, this friendly neighborhood provides a real sense of community. Neighbors are brought together many different times throughout the year to meet and socialize at various social activities.

​Lake Barrington is part of the larger Barrington Area which includes Barrington, North Barrington, South Barrington and Barrington Hills. Lake Barrington has it’s own local government whose office is located on Old Barrington Road in Lake Barrington. Residents of Lake Barrington use the Barrington Park District and the Barrington Area Library. Lake Barrington is serviced by the Barrington Area Fire Protection District and Lake County Sheriff’s Department. The Barrington Harbor neighborhood is located just 2 miles from Advocate Good SHEPHERD Hospital.

The Barrington Harbor neighborhood children attend the highly rated Barrington Area schools. Elementary children K-5 attend Roslyn Road School located at 224 Roslyn Road in Barrington. Middle School children in grades 6-8 attend Station Middle School located at 215 Eastern Avenue in Barrington. High School aged children attend Barrington High School located at 616 W. Main Street in Barrington.
